Technical notes:
Each percussionist has two toms, played with soft mallets. They share four wood-slats. The impact of the mallet on the wood slat should NOT be audible. Each slat should have a contact mic on it, which runs into your interface. The signal from the contact mic triggers the synth sounds. One percussionist controls the program changes with a MIDI pedal.
